Is it Haram to give my Islamic co-worker a Christmas card?

The card has a picture of a snowman and it says may your days be merry and bright. I chose one that doesn’t have the word ‘Christmas’ on it.

Update:

Olivia I’m not interested in the opinion of an infidel on this one. I need to know because I’m handing out cards tomorrow at work.

Yes ,but they may tell you that Jesus was born on the end of Sept. or beg. of Oct. not the end of Dec. for sure.

no. its not haram... the muslim might not take it personally.. its just a greeting card.. call it a winter wonderland card about a snowman.. .. I would suppose you could give a snow themed greeting card anytime during winter even outside of xmas time..

For you it’s not Haram. For them if they decide to keep it or throw it in the trash is between them and Allah.
