Why do liberals oppose trickle down economics?

Don't they realize it makes good economic sense? If billionaires get tax cuts then it means they have more money to make jobs and to spend buying things which means more people can be employed and that the economy grows. Taxing the rich like liberals want to do leads to loss of jobs and outsourcing. Since they create jobs for us and buy stuff that goes into the salaries of people that work for companies it trickles down for us. Of course this only works if you give tax cuts and money to the rich, if you give it to the poor they will just abuse it and become entitled on welfare.

The trouble is that there is no guarantee that they spend their billions in your country or even keep their money there. Most billionaires are billionaires because they hoard their wealth not because they spend it. To avoid tax they often use overseas tax havens so their country doesn't see most of the benefit.

WHY  do "LIBERALS "  oppose  "TRICKLE " down economics

there is a  reason its called  " TRICKLE "  to flow slowly by  drops

now examine the word  closely  drop the    "LE   "

the ROOT  of the word is  TRICK      a slow   drop  by drop  the common  people  TEARS  takes YEARS  to fill a barrel

according to ETYMOLOGY  a form of the word  STRIKE  ... STRICKEN   from  old English  "STRICAN  "  to lightly  PASS OVER  or rub as in to STROKE  from old Norse

If you give tax cuts to people receiving welfare it won't matter cause they don't make enough to pay taxes. Pretty stupid post

    Liberals love trickle up economics.

You know. They borrow money, give out food stamps and welfare to those who must spend 100% on the products made by the wealthy. Then the money trickles up to the wealthy.

The Democrats get to tax the Middle Class and force them to pay the interest on that borrowed money.

I do support trickIe-down economics. I just don't think conservatives' version of trickle-down economics will actually trickle down. It's more about allowing a small amount of people to horde money and create an oligarchy. I don't understand what their logic is... like do you honestly think billionaires would spend more money if taxes went down? They're not pinching pennies here.

The Laffer curve on which the trickle-down concept (hardly a theory) is based is faulty. In fact empirical evidence of periods when it was tried (e.g., during Reagan's administration) show that what really happens is the rich get richer and the poor stay poor. And instead of investing the increased margin due to decreased taxes, the rich just hoard more of the margin.

Liberals are lazy. They'd rather go for communism where lazy people get a free ride off the backs of people who work.

Liberals are not smart when it comes to economics. President Trump's tax cut and deregulation gave us the best economy in history. And to think, President Trump is working on another tax cut for Americans!

President Trump should balance the budget by eliminating most of those costly and despotic bureaucracies.

Who says they do?  Back when Barack Obama held taxpayers liable for GM's business losses so that the warm liquidity goodness of highly compensated union workers remaining employed could trickle down all over us, liberals celebrated him for it.

Same story when Obama, once again, made the Bush tax cuts permanent.  Democrats and republicans are in lock-step agreement, trickle down is the way to go.

We shouldn't help the poor, they just abuse it.

We should help the rich because they are kind and generous.

    Me Trump Robot.
