Are there any fantasy books that take place in a tribal/primitive time?

I've read many fiction that takes place in the medieval age. But know i want to read a book/comic that takes place in a tribal society or primitive society..

There have been several, but nothing that really stands out. You'll find far more apocalyptic/dystopian novels where people are back to primitive times after the fall of modern days.

    Try these---

Clan of the Cave Bear, by Jean Auel

The Reindeer People by Megan Lindholm

    Longtusk by Stephen Baxter

People of the Wolf by michael and Kathleen Gear

    Or google 'prehistoric fantasy novels'.

How about "Clan of the Cave Bear", or Sarabande's "The First Americans" series?

Sorry, mate, but no. By law all fiction must take place in the medieval age. It's just one of those things and there's nothing you, or I, can do about it. Hope this helped many.

A Long Time Until Now is one example.   It’s about US soldiers.   But there is hardly any combat.
