The Electoral College is the Elephant in the Room we don't like to talk about. WERE we to pull our heads out of the sand, we would see that we have no political power whatever, really, and we are busy bluffing just as fast and hard as we can. So, no thank-you, we don't want any reality check here, thank-you very much. Good day!

What's the alternative to democracy? If you want to live in a socialist paradise where there's never any danger of the nasty conservatives ever being in government, or any so-called right-wing media bias, I suggest you try Cuba or Venezuela for a while, and see how long you last before you're begging for a flight back.

Voting can give you a view on the society and the choice of majority. Then you can make your own choice.

Only as an individual if you live in a marginal constituency, but collectively, or course it makes a difference. If the majority of people are indifferent to politics, it is left to the minority of extremists to make the decisions which affect you. Politics therefore becomes more polarised.

If you don’t vote, you have no right to complain about the results.

Those of us who believe in the power of our vote need to spread the word.

well the evidence from the last few days would seem to suggest that voting makes a hell of difference, all the people voting for Boris has smashed away the log jam caused by self serving MPs who who were stopping Brexit
