My roof is 17 feet by 9 feet what is the square feet of roofing will I need?

    you only ask half a questions ..we are builders etc ..we are not mind readers ..nor visionaries ..we are able to guess ..its simple to say 163 sq ft ..but you failed to give more info is is a flat roof ..pitched .mono pitched ..etc

    Multiply 17 by 9 and add 10% for wastage.

      That's if it's a flat area, a gable or hip roof will be more.

    If you are talking about shingles you need 2 squares which is 6 bundles. Rolled roofing would be 2 rolls of 3' x 36'.
