No you're brainwashed like a parot.

You were told to think that.

It's not a racist flag or slavery flag.

It represents rebellion against a tyranical Government that waged war on it's own citizens over complete state control.

The confederate flag even adopted the cross bars from the Scottish flag, because Scotland stood up to English tyranny.

The red white and blue has meaning.

Ending slavery was not even talked about until the north started losing the war. The South could easily have been today's new founding forefathers.

Slavery flag? Never heard that. The Confederate flag was never officially adopted by southern states. It's official meaning had more to do with state's sovereignty not slavery.

"The battle flag was never adopted by the Confederate Congress, never flew over any state capitols during the Confederacy, and was never officially used by Confederate veterans' groups. The flag probably would have been relegated to Civil War museums if it had not been resurrected by the resurgent KKK [Democrats] and used by Southern Dixiecrats [Democrats] during the 1948 presidential election."

I see flags of different kinds every day - but that does not mean it was accepted by the Confederacy - because it wasn't.
