I'm betting one of those C's was in math.

Hi! You said you're in IB classes so I think it's over a 3.3. If the C's are in the IB classes then yes. If they're not, I don't think it's over 3.3. For us, in IB classes, a C= 3.0.

    3(4)= 12

    1(3)=   3

    2(4)=  8

    23/8=2.875

    your gpa is 2.875

Yikes, 4 C's will hold you back. Stop enrolling in more classes unless you want to become the next Stephen Hawking.

GPA is grade point average. Each A is four points, each B is three points, each C is two points, each D is one point, a F is zero points. Three A's is 12 points. One B is 3 points and Four C's is 8 points. Altogether you have 23 points 12+3+8+23. You have 8 classes. 23 divided by 8 is your Grade Point Average 2.875. Good Luck.

Not familiar with their grading system, but at my college, generally speaking

each of the C's would be worth 2 so 4x2=8, each of the A's would be worth 4

so 3x4=12, and the B would be worth 3 so 1x3=3, from there we add 8, 12, 3

    which is 23 total .. 8 / 23 gives me 2.875 .. it would not be over 3.3 or even 3.

My suggestion based on personal experience is to take a few less classes and

this way you can focus more time and attention on each, Better luck next time.
