Is one week enough in Long Beach, California?

I will be travelling to Long Beach in May and was wondering if one week was enough time to spend there. This will be my first travelling to the mainland and I am really curious.

Long Beach does not have a lot to see and do. Tripadvisor shows major activities.

Los Angeles can be reached by public transportation or a rental car.

Los Angeles is very spread out and a lot of things to do in this major city.

I love Balboa Park in San Diego. It is 1.5 to 2.5 hours by bus using Flixbus or Greyhound or one of each in round trip, and then an Uber or Lyft or taxi or other public transport to Balboa Park.

San Diego Zoo, about 18 museums, many gardens, and other attractions.

San Diego as a whole has many attractions.

If only visiting Long Beach, a week is more than enough.

I could spend a week in San Diego and a week in Los Angeles.

You can also visit the aquarium and are close to the south bay and orange county beaches.

In Long Beach, yes. In LA, not if you want to see all there is worth seeing. In SoCal, even less so.
