It's about equal.  However, Alex Cora is a Latino who voted Democrat and hates President Trump, so the rules don't apply to him.

I see "Astros' cheating scandal" and I think "Cora cheating scandal". The thing that Cora and Rose have in common are that both are douche bags who think the rules don't apply to them.

People like them are destroying the sport.

NOTHING is worse than Rose's betting scandal. It's not like he didn't know he did wrong. For 20 YEARS before Rose picked up a glove, it was the ONE rule that could get you suspended permanently (NOT just for life). Yet he did it anyway. Apparently thinking that the rules didn't apply to him. It's not like he did it once, and immediately regretted it. He gambled on baseball a minimum of HUNDREDS of times, then LIED about it for 20 years, UNTIL he decided he could make money off it by writing a tell-all book. He CLAIMS he never bet against the Reds, but he's a known liar with no credibility. In fact, John Dowd found betting slips that seemed to show that he bet AGAINST his team.

IF you accept Rose's claims, you have to ask at what level of ability can you get away with breaking the rules. Because then you are telling every other player that ever signed a contract, that if Rose could get away with it, then so can you.

That's a terrible message to send.

That doesn't excuse the Astros, but don't make Rose to be a saint.

What Pete Rose did was worse, and to me what the 1919'Black Sox', AKA the Chicago White Sox did was worse than what the Astros did.
