The 1933 book "My Visit to the Sun" suggests that husbands and wives can be together in heaven and share an estate and beautiful manor?

Is there any biblical basis for such a belief?

Yes. Remember the Law's levirate marriages? Also, at one point some people in the early Christian church tried to forbid widows to remarry precisely because marriages are supposed to last forever. Most other references to eternal marriage have been expunged from the Bible books.

No, anyone with a brain knows that death is the end.

No. Jesus addressed the issue of marriage in heaven when asked about who a widow who had married several brothers in turn would be married to in heaven. Jesus answered that we would neither marry not be given in marriage.

The one exception to this is that Jesus will marry his bride. Like many other things, human marriage is a shadow of the truth that came in Christ

Sorry, but absolutely not. Those who are destined for heaven will be co-rulers with Jesus Christ, the king of God's Kingdom. There number is 144,000.--Revelation 7:4 and 14:1-3; Revelation 5:9 and 10 and 20:6---They will rule over the meek righteous ones who will be living right here on earth.--Psalms 37:11 and 29 and Matthew 5:5--I invite you to learn more about what the Bible teaches from the international website, www.jw.org and Bible Teachings > Online Lessons. Thank you.

A couple are not husband and wife, once one of them dies. Read the marriage vows - "until death do us part", or "as long as we both shall live".

That has to be about as huge amount of nonsense as any of those so-called prophecies in the NT which were taken from the OT and not one of those are about the Jesus character.

    Just wishful thinking.

My first thought after reading your question was,

"Where do they get the mechanical maintenance parts

    for the chainsaw?"

Estates require a lot of maintenance.

No.  There is no marriage in heaven as we know it.  But all believers make up the bride of Christ.  We will be married to Him.  The Bible even talks about the marriage supper of the Lamb.
