NEVER send money to individuals you have never personally met. Why would you? Many crowdfunding appeals are scams.

Depends on the situation. If you have a mutual friend with them or some other way of proving their identity it’s fine. If it’s just a random internet user no way in heck would I ever send money.

It's a well known technique especially if they are of opposite gender. They will build trust so to lately  want money, again and again.

No, never do that. Those people are just trying to scam you. Don't ever send money to anyone you've met online.

The answer is no. Some of your Facebook friends can be potential scammers and sending money to them is not recommended. Never fall for their tricks when they ask you money for medicine, college tuition, or a staged emergency.
