      Pootie Tang ?
There are bad movies, there are disappointing movies, and then there's Pootie Tang, a movie so incompetent, it almost defies description.

hahaha NONE... especially the ones which are mostly SPECIAL EFFECTS made on a computer program... Maybe possible some before the computer age which had real scenery and real actors in it.

Just like music, movies are too subjective to fall into one category of greatness, enough to be called masterpieces. I can break down Lawrence of Arabia for hours and never convince anyone it's one of the greatest films of all time. The person asking this question could also consider Dude, Where's My Car?, Earnest Scared Stupid, and Adam Sandler's Jack and Jill masterpieces.

There are many movies considered the greatest of all time--by film critics--which I don't consider masterpieces. Conversely, my list of masterpieces has quite a few "1-2 Star" rated movies. Again, movies can be just as subjective as TV shows, beautiful faces, and fast food.

I consider many, many movies masterpieces. Just off the top of my head, Sir David Lean's Lawrence of Arabia is a masterpiece.

I watched a movie Cut from 3 hours length.  a lot  was  Missing from the plot. The character development was stunted. I did mot se the entire movie until I saw it on  YTNT, uncut. My home town in 1971 cut 5 minutes off "Deliverance" too.

Like Robert Duvall, From Boo Radley in "T o Kill a Mockingbird" until now. From Ned Pepper to the evil land baron in

"Joe Kidd:", to Tom,Hagen in "Godfather". Never a bad performance. . Like to have seen Sam Elliot in LD
