how to take out hard entered spaces in google docs?

    I have not worked with Google Docs, but with every other word processor I have used you should be able to use the "Find and Replace" feature to find any "hard entered spaces" and replace them with whatever you want to use instead.

    I suspect that what you are actually wanting to replace are not spaces, but are "returns" at the end of lines.  Usually those are represented by the character "\n".  You would want to "find" all the "\n" and replace them with " " (a space in between two quotes)  That should get rid of the hard line breaks and allow Google Docs to properly format the line.

    (Note: It is possible that Google Docs uses something "\n" for the hard returns.)
