CHEM SOURCES OF ERROR?

What could be the sources of error for Pressure and Depth experiment?

We attached a pressure sensor on a meter stick and then dipped it in a large graduated cylinder for every 5 cm. As depth increases, pressure also increases which was proven with the graph that we acquired during the experiment. However, finding sources of error is really difficult for me.

Anything you DO is a source of error.  You try to move the sensor "5 cm at a time" How precisely is this possible?  How closely can you estimate or measure "5 cm "?  Now what about the pressure sensor.  How good is that? How accurately can you read it?  What about the SIZE of the sensor.  What POINT on that sensor is the actual depth?  Anything that you measure or control is a source of error.
