Is the .357 Sig round exclusive to Sig Sauer handguns?

    Really odd bullet, a .355 round stuffed into a .400 necked down shell.  No where on it does it measure .357.

      The name of a cartridge does not always match the actual dimensions.  In this case the name was derived from the idea that Sig wanted to try to match the ballistics of a .357 magnum in a semi-auto cartridge.
