Early-Mid 1980s New-Wave or Post Punk song. I think I recall the chorus:?

Young male singer, sounds like he sings:

"It's strange... It's great..." then I think it was something about water flowing. Sounds like they were probably British, maybe American or Canadian or Australian.

This is NOT the Talking Heads song "Once In A Lifetime" that also mentions water flowing.

    • AWESOME!  Thank you so much!!!!  I had recalled it as New Wave, but it's actually much more like REM.

Bridge over troubled waters. Paul Simon.

    • No.  That's not an '80s post-punk or New Wave song.

Why don’t you ever listen to the lyrics? Seriously it is impossible to know without more of the lyrics like what they were singing about.

    • Give me a break.  I haven't heard the song SINCE the 80s.  The chorus popped into my head while I was doing the dishes tonight.
