Pls help.The highest point of a simple pendulum Bob is 5cm?

The highest point of a simple pendulum Bob is 5cm vertically above the lowest point as it swings to and fro between the two extreme ends. At what velocity does it swing past the lowest point (equilibrium point) where the string is vertical? (take g=10m/s²)

    The potential energy will convert to kinetic energy

    ½mv² = mgh

    v = √(2gh) = √(2(10)0.05) = 1.0 m/s

    Vmax = √2gh = √2*10*0.05 = 1.0 m/sec
