Now the senate has it - Schiff/Nadler/Pelosi all repeatedly said they had overwhelming evidence, then why spending 10+ hours saying...?
...they absolutely need more witnesses and documents?
Is that a TRANSLATION: "we lied and don't have basically nothing so we need to get the senate to do the job we failed to do in the House".

And Trump has repeatedly said, and is still saying, that he 'welcomes' having Bolton, Pompeo, Perry, Mulvaney testify. So why is the White House still blocking them?
Why has the White House produced ZERO of the thousands of subpoenaed documents?

The Democrats already presented a case they claimed was solid enough to sign and present articles of impeachment . It's supposed to be time to judge the case

They did have overwhelming evidence, to a reasonable person. But these people are not reasonable. The heavier the hammer the easier it is to drive in a railroad spike. In this case, you need a 75 lb. Sledgehammer ( which they don't make, but you need one.)

“Don’t have anything, basically”. “Don’t have nothing” is a double negative, which actually would mean they have something and putting “basically” where you did in the sentence made it worse, basically.

Trump has blocked relevant witnesses and documents. The American people deserve a fair trial and a historical record that reflect the facts of this very serious case.
Whether the Senate acquits or convicts, there should be a proper trial record on which to base the votes. That is common sense.

They're basically saying they decided to impeach Trump on nothing but hearsay with no evidence, and now they want the Senate to do their jobs for them.

You do understand what a trial is, right? It is where you call witnesses and introduce evidence. I can't believe how hard of a concept this seems to be for so many Republicans.

"There isn’t any evidence, they don’t have any...because there aren’t any impeachable offenses. They had their own opportunity to find the evidence, to produce the evidence. They don’t have any. They didn’t produce any because there isn’t any." -Rush Limbaugh

You nailed it. Democrats and their shiit-show aren't fooling anyone.

They would like the evidence PRESENTED to the Senators. And they would like the witnesses that Trump all blocked from testifying to TESTIFY, because they were NOT ALLOWED TO TESTIFY FOR THE HOUSE.
