Although Indians exhibit very dark skin colour they are a major sub-group of Caucasians(white)

. All their other characteristic features are the same as Caucasians ; thin lips, straight or wavy hair, low cheek bones, moderately wide head.

The other two major ethnic groups are Mongoloids(Orientals (Chinese)) and Neg-roids (sub-Saharan Africans).

Mongoloids exhibit 'yellowish' skin tone, high cheek bones, thin lips, wide head. generally stature is shorter than Caucasians.

Neg-roids exhibit black skin tone, low cheek bones, everted lips, crinckly hair, narrow head, generally stature is taller than Caucasians.
