Mb = mb*Vb = 0.0526*311 = 16.36 kg*m/sec

KEb = 0.0526/2*311^2 = 2544 joule

Mg = -Mb = -16.36 kg*m/sec

recoil speed Vg = -Mg/mg = -16.36 / 28 = -0.584 m/sec

KEg = 28/2*0.584^2 = 4.78 joule
