He didn’t seal the deal. At a time when lots of people were hurt by offshore outsourcing, he made a fortune off of doing just that. Obama seemed humbled and  we gave him a second chance

He seemed to be on a role despite one careless gaff after another.  Then he was secretly recorded telling a group at a dinner that 42 percent are going to vote for Obama and those people are to be ignored.  His rating declined after that.

Go back to the protests in 2009 against the ACA and then look at Romney. Notice anything? You see, the republican base was energized in that election to vote for someone that would repeal the ACA, but what they got instead was Romney, which put in place a law that looked a lot like the ACA in Massachusetts years earlier.  The republican base just didn't want to vote for Romney and so when election day came around republicans ended up voting for people like Ron Paul (he came in third) that was not even running at the time instead of Romney.

Lots of people wanted to say they voted for the first black president but missed out the first time around.

No one would get out of bed or skip lunch to vote for that loser. I'm more confident than ever that the "two" party system is really working together behind the scenes.
