A music artist had a book on her website that was a twelve hour flash sale, does that mean it will never be available again?

Do flash sale items like that ever come back in the future?

No, it's just a marketing exercise.

Flash sale is just a term for a quick sale that’s usually a good deal but only lasts for a short amount of time, like “50% off for the next 8 hours only”. The goal being scarcity; in other words you see the sale and think the offer sounds good, but you can’t sit around and think about it. If you don’t take action, it will be gone and you might regret missing it!

Sometimes that tactic can work really well and sometimes it feels very manipulative. It really depends on how it’s positioned and what the product provides.

That being said, the term “flash sale” on its own doesn’t indicate whether or not the item is only available during that sale or if they’re just having a quick sale to boost numbers.

There’s no way to know more about the item you’re referencing specifically because you haven’t provided enough information (who is selling it and what the offer was exactly).

Sometimes.... usuaIIy a fIash saIe just means that something is on saIe at a Iower cost for a Iimited time, and then it goes back to full price. lf they're not seIIing it right now, then it might have been a limited time thing .

No, a flash sale is usually just a very short term price drop.

They could come back, but it’s also possible it was an extremely limited print run meant just for that sale. Also she might plan on selling the rest at her musical performances and not online.
