if could drive over the Atlantic Ocean , how long it would take to go from Cuba to Spain going 60 mph on average?

Update:

how long did it take Columbus to sail that far? why it took him like 5-6 weeks?

Update 2:

how many miles is it from coast of Spain to coast of Cuba? and what is difference between "Nautical miles and normal American miles?"_?

Update 3:

only 3 mph? lol..so you could actually walk to spain in the amount of time it took Columbus to sail that? and probably beat him by a week or two?

    The distance from Havana, Cuba to Madrid, Spain is:

    4,632 miles.    60=4632/X   77 Hours.

    Columbus was in a very slow sailing ship relying on the Wind.

    Max speed would have been about 3 MPH when there was Wind.  He most likely had days with no wind at all.  That is what it took him so long.

    Distance from Havana, Cuba to Madrid Spain is 4,623.92 mi (7,441.48 km), this is by a 'Great circle' route.

    Using the equation speed = distance / time

    Then

    time = distance / speed.

    Hence

    time = 4623.9 miles./ 60 mph = 77.065 hours. ( this is just short of 3 and 1/4 days.

    So get the distance (Google maps) and divide the distance in miles by 60 to get the travel time.

    speed = distance / time

    Look up the distance, simple calc.
