Prolonged use of Ambien can be dangerous. You need to see a sleep therapist. My wife became dependent on Ambien and it did not end well

You only need to take one Ambien to get the benefits of good sleep. It's dangerous to take more than that. It can slow down your breathing and heart rate to the point of causing respiratory failure. It's also highly addictive. Some morons do take it trying to get high, but that's because they are young and stupid.

It's safe to take the dosage that was prescribed by your doctor.  If you feel it's not helping and you need to take more - speak with your doctor.

Do what the dosage on the box says.

If the instructions say to take 2 to 3 as needed, yes.

probably not, but exactly what is the "sleeping pill" and what is the dose?

And what does it say on the bottle?
