  • I could ask the same thing about College and Professional Sporting Events, Music Acts, Circus Events, and other Entertainment? Enhancement and Showmanship, of course if you're in the building when that stuff goes off, it leaves a fog and haze for a few minutes and can temporarily ruin your view. I have the same complaint concerning the opening game for The NBA Season.

It's part of the showmanship, World Wrestling Entertainment just started bringing pyro back as it was removed from the show after someone in the back [Road Dogg] thought pyro was 'passe' and no longer needed.  WWE has done all it can to remove the showmanship from the product, titantrons use to be mini-movies that told who and what the character of a wrestler was and no it's just a giant nameplate design.
