Please recommend a compost spreader to purchase.?

    I use a good old fashioned wheel-barrow or little trailer attached to my riding mower.   If you have an ATV you can attach a little trailer to that too.

    As far as spreading goes, metal fixed-tine rake works fine.      If you're talking loads and loads of compost on a pasture, you can drag a piece of chain link fence by attaching it to a hitch if you don't want to buy/store a harrow.

    Anyways, you didn't give any info about the specifics of your situation such as the type, amount of compost and the location/size of the are where you are trying to spread it.    Pretty hard to help with ZERO information.
