What's your opinion on having a tattoo of the name of your godson or goddaughter?

It is totally up to you.  I wouldn't, but if you feel that strongly about your goddaughter or godson, go for it but put it in a discreet place just in case.  If I were tattoo inclined I'd probably go with a spouse, child or grandchild's name.  Or even Mom or Dad.  A friend recently got her dog's name tattooed on her arm.

To each his own, but I don't think its a good idea for a tattoo.

It's not something I would do.

This is a choice for you to make yourself, but personally I would make sure it was okay with the person or their parents first.

That's personal choice, if it's something that feels right and meaningful for you then that's great. The only problem might be if you ever grow apart or lose touch with them, but if you're sure you'll be close then it's fine.

With my tattoos, personally I prefer images and symbols rather than words.
