I've been flying airplanes for years. Have not yet sat in the pilot seat but I think my telekinesis powers have been holding me safely at 35,000 feet for the past 40 years or should I give some credit to Boeing and Airbus?

I started flying in the early 1950s. I traded work for flying time, and newby cfi's gave me lessons to build time. I couldn't pass the CAA physical for commercial. due to my eyes. I never thought flying was particularly fun or satisfying. I was going to A&E school, and everybody said I needed to fly the things, because no one wanted to ride in one that I hadn't flown myself. I was a pilot until I let my medical lapsed in 1995 or so. I even tried sport aviation, with a Pitts and a Midget Mustang, home builts. Go get a real job and buy a race car to have fun and waste money.

I was doing that more than 50 years ago in the Navy, but I guess I am too old now.
