Is it weird that I get tired of PB&J sandwiches when I eat it everyday?

My colleague eats PB&J sandwiches for lunch. He said he s been eating PB&J for lunch everyday since he was 10 years old and really loves it. I tried imitating him because not only is PB&J healthier than grabbing take out food, but it s also cheap and can save me a lot of money. Well, when I started imitating my colleague and ate PB&J everyday, I liked it. Now, after a month of doing it, I m just so sick of it. I wish I can be my colleague and keep eating it without getting tired of it.

Why am I getting tired of PB&J? Why can t I be like my colleague?

No its not weird at all, you obviously need a change.

If you want to carry on eating them you could change it up a bit, like having different jams / jellies, maybe honey or even sliced apples or banana with the PB.

You're simply realizing how repetitive it is. I once got tired of eating Bananas after eating them everyday for a week.

he's been doing it since ten. When I have sandwiches I have to have variety and then I get sick of sandwiches and have something else. PB & J sandwiches I think would get too sweet after a while

Vary the sandwich. Make PB&J, PB&J with cheese, BB & sweet jalapeno slices, PB & banana, PB & Nutella and/or PB & lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. Then you can try PB, mayo and Chicken. The possibilities are endless.

No, it's normal to get tired of it if you have it every day.

You're a different person; thus you don't have the same response.

    This is normal...

Try different jellies/jams and switch between crunchy and smooth peanut butter.

Try different nut butters as well.

    why? Because everyone is different.

NO one person is exactly like another.

Not sure why you consider PB&J healthy.

Cannot understand why you would want to eat it every day.

Try a salad sandvich instead. So many different options of what you can choose to include that it can taste a little different every day.

And actually is a healthy option.
