Why don’t more people move to the Caribbean?

Everyone wants to move to Florida.

People from the South. People from up North etc. I watch a lot of Caribbean life on HGTV.It seems the Caribbean has better weather and a simple way of life. And you don’t have  the hateful people who are in the United  States. There are a lot of affordable houses too. I don’t get it. Florida is crazy. Why not move to the Caribbean?
