if a monkey and a human had sex, is it possible that they would have a monkey-human? why or why not?

what it would be like? has ever been experimented in a science study?

Update:

so why if humans are considered "great apes"...why they cannot conceive with other apes?

Update 2:

so , i did not undertand your answer, you said it was quite possible, but then not possible? so which is it? why? if you injected the vagina of a human with a monkey sperm

quite impossible,it may have been done 100s of yrs ago but after all the gene mutations over the centuries it aint happening now first it would be very hard to get the animal to try to have sex with you, second human sperm would be imcompatible with animal reproductive organs due to issues such as different number of chromosomes, reproductive tract incompatibility, etc, then try getting over the ethics of it all, youll be jailed for life for even trying if the police found out, lets say out of some miracle someone did get pregnant, it will most likely result in a miscarriage early on in the pregnancy.

it would have possible 100s of years ago when the genes of animals and humans were quite primitive, over time the genes have become more complex so the process succeeding is more complex now, doctors would likely have to change the sperm in some way in a lab to make it happen which is illegal.

Make your mind up about what your question is about. Is it about monkeys or great apes? They are NOT the same thing.

Humans cannot reproduce with monkeys because of the differences between chromosomes. They simply would not pair up.

They can't conceive together.  We share a great deal of our DNA with apes, but we're just different enough that we can't produce offspring.  There are chromosomal and other genetic differences.  Speciation over thousands of millennia has ensured this.

Unless the apes you're talking about are both humans.  After all, humans are members of the Hominidae -- great ape -- family.

We were closer to Neanderthals -- also Hominidae -- and COULD reproduce with them, but that was a very long time ago.

Chimpanzees can't mate with gorillas or orangutans either, dear, but all three are members of the Hominidae family.  Go back to school and take some biology classes.
