Is Italy & Greece similar cultural?are those two countries 3rd world ?

Italy the home of world famous artist Michelangelo,Leonardo da Vinci world famous artist,Greece the birthplace of the World Olympics.No they are not 3rd world countries.Also the birthplace of Latin language the basis of the English language today.

They are members of the EU and the Euro. They are not poor countries compared to the new members from eastern Europe. But they are the most affected countries by the financial collapse due to the US subprime in 2008. And they can't stand up today still. Grexit and Itaxit are the most talking in Europe right now.

There are some similarities, but they aren't extremely similar.
Neither is a Third World Country. First, Third World Countries don't exist anymore. The term was invented by NATO during the Cold War to categorize countries as First World, Second World, or Third World. NATO quit using that categorization process in the 1990s. That said, when NATO did use that categorization process, Greece and Italy were both always listed as First World Countries. Examples of Second World Countries included Poland, Yugoslavia, Cuba, and North Korea. Third World Countries were mostly in Africa and Central and South America, with a spattering in Asia.
