How to help someone having a night terror?

    There isn’t really anything that you can do other than be there and speak calmly/reassure them during it and comfort and care for them after it is over.

      I take it this is an adult? If they remember their night terror then having them see a mental health specialist to explore and confront whatever it is would be the best option. Other than that, just being there when they wake up and talking in a calming voice and give support is all you can do.

    try to wake them up and take them to the hospital so they can get some help

    you could try waking them up, and maybe they should see a psychiatrist, they might be able to give them meds to stop it
