To be saved a Christian must believe:

    - Jesus was God incarnate.

    - The only way to heaven is through his sacrifice for our sins and new covenant.

    - That he died and rose again on the 3rd day.

Yes. That fact is a fundamental truth of Christianity.

Are Christians required to accept that Jesus rose from the dead and walked around for over a month? Yes. You cannot call yourself a Christian if you don't believe in the resurrection of Jesus. It was the resurrection that proved him to be the Son of God, you see - Romans 1:1-6. And proof positive of his resurrection came with him appearing to about 500 disciples over a period of 40 days, some of them seeing him ascend bodily up into the sky till clouds hid him from there sight. Then 2 angels appeared and told the disciples to stop gazing up because "This same Jesus who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him to into heaven." - Acts 1:1-11 Until then, Christians are to spread the good news about Jesus to all the world, as He commanded them in verse 8.

Jesus' resurrection proves also that death has been defeated by his sacrifice as death can only claim sinners but Jesus died sinless, so death could not hold him. Jesus, being the Son of God, broke the chains of sin that bind us. Those who repent of there sin and trust in his work on the cross are freely forgiven by God and raised to new life, in Christ. If there was no resurrection of Christ, then (as the Bible says) if we Christians have hoped in Christ only for this life, "we are to be pitied more than all men" - 1 Corinthians 15:19 - "But Christ indeed has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep... The last enemy to be destroyed is death"-  vss 20-26. Only because Jesus arose in triumph from the grave can believers in Him join him after they die physically. The ancient Apostles' Creed states the basics of what must be believed by all Christians, and resurrection and return of Christ is one of those fundamentals.

"Required"??  What are you talking about?  Christians believe that because it happened.

It's not required, but if that causes them to live by the rules, apparently it's acceptable.

Jesus was was raised in Spirit as the Christ and was visible on only to those who'd believed in him and had acknowledged the New Covenant established by him.

Please read the parable of Road to Emmaus "Luke 24:13-35"

Christ will come again for our salvation and will be visible to those who believes who've been waiting for him, ref Heb 9:28.

That He rose from the dead? YES. That he walked around for over a month? NO.

Jesus was a human being, and Christ was a spirit that resided in him. Jesus died and will never rise again. Christ supposedly rose. Christ is supposed to make a second coming soon (if he hasn't already been born).

Yes we are. But there are Christians who are more sceptical about it than that.

I say that even though the Aker has me blocked and I cannot answer. But I'm not bigoted against those on here who have me blocked. There are a lot of such anonymous people! God knows who they are, and He judges their motives.
