Can Trump take over the position as AG, and have William Barr removed?
Would The President be more effective if he had Barr removed and then take on the AG position, while remaining President?

NOW WHY WOULD HE WANT TO DO THAT?

He can remove all cabinet secretaries and appoint himself to all of those positions. But his practice is to hire people just so he can fire them.

Trump has already said publicly that he's the nation's top law enforcement officer. So, Trump obviously believes he is the A.G. and that Barr is just his assistant and expected to do his bidding. And further, you can bet your bottom dollar that Trump believes that he IS the government ... and that he expects the country will know that by election day this year.

He could, but Barr is a historical grade Attorney General who will correct many of the crimes committed by democrat operatives planted within the department. Democrat corrupt government.

Yes. It's a Cabinet position and that means Trump is the boss.

President Trump already has a job. He is not an attorney. If he were to try it, the Senate has the right to advise and consent. Senators would not agree.

No. Trump cannot hold a position in his own cabinet. Taking a cabinet position requires that one resign all other government positions, so he would have to resign as President.

No. Leave him where he is and let him prosecute the law breakers.
