doese immigrations check your entery dates when you apply for citizen ship or only they ck at time of intrview?

    Any checking would be done during processing but as few people can recall all the dates verbatim this is often just based on one's best recollection.

    Checking everything is part of the normal processing procedures before they set up any interview appointment.

    You are not going to pass the language exam so you are wasting your money if you attempt to naturalise at this time. 

    But to answer your question; when you file the N-400, you will list all your trips outside the country during the qualifying period (3 or 5 years).  These need to show that you are clearly US resident so 2 week trips are ok but not 3 month trips.  The background checks are very thorough and will include verifying your travel history with immigration.

    Then when you attend your interview, the interviewer will have those dates in front of him and will be free to ask you to verify any or all of them.  He or she will also ask if there have been any trips since you filed the N-400.
