dunno for sure, but you over do it, why ? just a regular sized juice glass per day is a normal amount, it is a healthy sugar but why over do it ?

Short answer - NO.
It is more about total carbohydrates consumed each day. If your total carbohydrates are always too high every day, then the pre-diabetic person is pushing themselves closer and closer to diabetes.
If their total carbohydrates per day are low, then they are delaying the process of becoming diabetic.
Of course, the RIGHT carbohydrates are important. For example, it is much better to eat 50 grams of carbohydrates from vegetables and fruits than from pasta and candy.
If you are eating right for the majority of the time, then having orange juice sometimes is not going to be the reason prediabetes turns into diabetes. On a day when you want orange juice, don't actually eat fruit as well. And make sure your juice choice does not have added sugars.
