What makes the white part of your eye yellow?

My eyes have been yellow for about a week or so, but when I've asked someone to look at them I've been told they get better but then it gets more yellow again.  It was suggested by someone that it may be allergies but i don't know to what. Just looking for some explanation...my skin is normal and i feel ok aside from that. Though they do feel a little puffy at times and today i noticed brown in the one along with the yellow.

That is jaundice, caused by a liver problem.  See a doctor a.s.a.p.  It can be very dangerous so don't waste time on this one.

Your may have Hepatitis or you may be jaundiced which is when your red blood cells start breaking down. Go to a doctor.
