A wheel of radius 3.0 m is rotating with a constant angular speed of 10.0 rad/s. What is the linear speed of a point on the wheel's rim?

    v = ω*r

    for ω in rad/s

    so here

    v = 10.0rad/s * 3.0m = 30 m/s

    V = ω*r = 10*3 = 30 m/sec

    for a point on the rim of the rotating wheel , the linear speed will be V = r w = 3 x 10 = 30 m/sec.
