Do you think the corona virus and the marketing issues consist of the birth pain Jesus talked about or is it a test from God?

The social pattern you are referring to where Jesus uses the analogy of a woman in labor experiencing steady increases in both intensity and duration of labor pains until a 'birth' occurs is appropriate to the situation, especially when it comes to plagues and pestilence, since this pattern is also directly linked to exponential increases in human knowledge and travel, (e.g. Daniel 12:4).
In the case of these pandemics, the spread is being directly 'super-charged' and 'super-sized' by this increase in knowledge and travel. A man with average financial tools can now board a plane at the epicenter of a pandemic outbreak in a remote communist nation and literally find himself anywhere in the world in less than 24 hours spreading it to others.
All of this 'increasing trouble' is part of a Great Divine Testing predicted to arrive in direct proportion to the increase in knowledge and travel. For some, the 'birth' being described is a divine judgment calling them to repent or make a final decision to play it out to its bitter end while opposing GOD. For others, it is divine justice ushering in a new social order that will steadily reveal the existence of GOD and His currently 'hidden' divine government, which will begin preparing us for the physical return and reign of Christ during a new and 'unexpected' era of Christian authority, prodigy and power, (described as a 'supersized' version of Christ's resurrection, only of a Church seemingly 'dead' and surrounded by circling 'vultures' who perceive it to be powerless and incapable of defending itself, e.g. Luke 17:34).
That is only an appearance.

I think it's just a sign of the times.

It's neither. It's due to tRump mucking up reponse times. Trying to get re-elected. Also, in South Korea, the woman who went about spreading this. Belonged to the Shincheonji Church in South Korea. Which teaches that being sick is a sin. She and others helped spread this. Religion needs to die. It's killed and harmed far too many.
