would it be safe to tow a jetski and trailer behind my 2016 Chevy Cruze LT. Or is it to much weight. They weigh about 950 lbs.?

YOUR OWNERS MANUAL HAS TOWING INFORMATION. READ IT.

    .

If you don't have one, it's a free download from the manufacturer's website

The answer is yes, barely. it can tow up to 1200 lbs.  but won't perform very well. If your trailer weighs more than 2-300 pounds in addition to the Jetski,I wouldn't recommend towing very far or in hilly country. Too hard on the transmission and brakes..

It should be fine. the towing capacity is 1000 lbs so with the jetski plus trailer you are pushing 1000 pounds but GM claims it can handle it so I would say yea it could

You will be fine with under 1000lbs just don't load another 500 lbs of gear and people in the car. The engine and transmission are not the weak link it is the braking
