Can a bad wheel bearing make a noise as if it's coming from the center console.?

Honda civicakes noise with wheels off the ground also.

    If it sounds like it's in the middle that usually means both front wheel bearings are bad. Do them both. They have the same amount of mileage on them.

    Yup. Just set the parking brake, chock the rear wheels, lift the front end, remove the wheels and start the engine and put it in gear. You should be able to isolate which wheel it is.

    Not that I'm aware of. A worn wheel bearing would make your tires wearing unevenly. Check them for exessive wear at various spots.
