How come Canada isn’t a nordic country? Like Iceland, Greenland/Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden?

Like the nordic countries, Canada is an cold country and near the Arctic. Canadians from my perspective, are very nice, and seem to be one of the happiest countries along with the nordic countries.

Because Nordic is synonymous with Scandinavia.  Canada is not Scandinavian.

My first guess would be because Canada isn't located in Europe.  We also don't wear socks and sandals.

Because when they (Nordic peeps) tried they couldn't survive in Canada.  Hard to say if they starved to death or the locals killed them off.

Because it's attached to America rather than Europe.
