Is it considered breaking the lease ?

Is it considered breaking the lease if you only have a month left on the leasing contract  and you paid for the entire but move out early?

    No. As long as you paid the full rent for the full term of the lease, you could not move in at all. As long as you paid the final month, you can move early.

    You should notify the landlord that you are moving early, and request a final inspection ASAP. have someone go with you as your witness and video-document the inspection as protection against later surprise 'problems' the landlord claims are justification for keeping security deposit.

    As long as you've given the required notice in writing, you haven't broken the lease - you've just moved out early .The rent needs to be paid; that's pretty much it.

    If you pay through the end of the lease then you can leave whenever you want.  You still do need to give the proper notice (usually about 30 days) that you are leaving.

    That would depend on whether you violated your lease.  If you did not, then you are fine.  If you paid the last month's rent, you are free to move out early.

    No, you can move out whenever you want to if you pay the rent.

    No.  The landlord doesn't care where you live as long as the apartment is paid for.  You can stay with your BF and make the beast with two backs as much as you want.

    As long as your landlord has proper notification that you are ending your lease and planning not to renew and paid, shouldn't be an issue. I did this, had a month of an empty apartment because we paid until Sept. 1st, but we moved out end of July, so all of August was cleaning the place up. We gave them 30 days notice on August 1st and that was that.

    Example - If you have paid through April 30 and you move out on April 17, you are not breaking the lease.

    You do need to inform your landlord that you are not renewing and will be moving.

    If you have paid in full, the landlord will be happy to have you move out early so he/she/it can spruce up the place.
