So why arent we doing like China and Italy a National lockdown AND Disinfecting the cities to finally slow it down?

Both China and Italy are now reporting slow downs in Covid19 cases after national lockdowns and then cleaning the city streets, parks, buildings and more with wide spread disinfectant from trucks and workers. Trumps No Solution to any kind of clean up. Just go back to work. The economy is more important than living. Which means are just about to get worse. This is what lower IQ people put into the white house. Do we all need to start tweeting Trump AND our local governors and mayors this to try and get his, and their attention on what they should be doing to solve it?

Update:

That was supposed to say.. Which means things are just about to get worse

Update 2:

I just tweeted  Trump, Mike Pence the vice president, Governor of NYC Andrew Cuomo and my state's governor. If everybody who sees this does the same we might finally get some progress going to slowing it down

Update 3:

Trump is listening. Less than an hour after tweeting to him that at the least the epicenter  the spot with the highest cases NYC should be quarantined or put on lockdown and disinfected so that these people didn't leave and infect the rest of the country he then tweeted right after about putting NYC, CT, and NJ on a short term quarantine. Other governors from states near these hot spot states had been complaining about the same thing also

This isn't going away any time soon. We are looking at at least 3 years of dealing with outbreaks of these deadly strains of Corona virus. Locking the world down for 3 years is not feasible. Let it slowly run through the population so we gain some herd immunity. Elderly folks and people with pre-existing conditions should be staying home and isolating as well as they can. Everyone else should be taking vitamin D3, Vitamin C, getting 8-9 hours of sleep per night, and eating a healthy diet, in addition to washing your hands. Do these things and your chances of getting this illness, much less any other sickness, are greatly greatly reduced.

Because the idiot Cuomo is refusing because he's claims it would be anti-american.  He's threatening all kinds of law suits... etc.  he doesn't care that half of the cases in America are in New York and New Jersey.  He doesn't care that almost half of the deaths in America are in New York and New Jersey.

"The economy is more important than living."

That may be your opinion, most people (including all leftists) disagree.

Desinfecting the city is just a waste of energy. Viruses aren't that sturdy.

a total lockdown would affect essential services, and put people without foods and meds. Also, once you end it there could still be a (new) outbreak because almost nobody has acquired immunity. Total lockdown only makes sense if you can test everybody and isolate/quarantine everybody who has the virus.

I think the approach of these here Netherlands is best. It's allowed to get food and meds and do necessary things. Restaurants, bars and hairdressers are closed. Choirs don't rehearse. Burials are restricted to parties of 30.  We are hoping to flatten the curve enough to prevent overflooding hospitals and morgues, while still allowing parts of the people to gain immunity

Actually, in the US, the fatality rate is around 1.5%, Italy is almost 10%.  Germany is less than 1%.  It depends on is people get the S or L version of the virus and it depends on medical support for the severe and critcal cases.

Disinfecting cities is not really with in the budget right now. All our money went to bail outs for big businesses.

We already have pretty much a national lockdown. You need to start paying attention. You should be asking the mayors of those cities why they aren't disinfecting them. This goes especially for the cities that have defied the federal government by declaring themselves sanctuaries and exempt from enforcement of federal laws.

You should, not me. Its everybodies job to do their part. Ive already tweeted my governor. What about you? And there is no national lockdown, just a suggestion in SOME places to self quarantine, which a good percentage of people are ignoring. Huge difference

The stats from the city is that its small areas with large residential areas in it. That's it. Basically its almost like a virus was found in the city. It hasnt spread out much to other places, other than that. People dont know how to prevent it or even if its infecting other places. People are definitely trying. The virus is slowing down. People are having more outbreaks that smaller areas and most of the cases are in large, larger cities. Places like the FDA where the problem started and are along it's path to getting a better handle on it.

Trump or Cuomo should atleast be doing a lockdown and city wide disinfectant in New York City. The epicenter in this country. If it wasnt for NY we would not be topping the list on worldwide cases right now. They're more than half of the cases in the whole country.
