Is this hypocritcal?

So viruses need a HOST inorder to survive.  People do NOT need to hunt for food inorder to survive.

Is it hypocritcal to be AGAINST viruses HARMING you inorder for them to survive (they NEED a host inorder to survive) but HARM an animal (hunting it) for food?

Viruses are not parasites. They are not "alive". They are not capable of "reproducing" as cells do. Think of them as tiny batchs of RNA "rouge" computer code. They have one "function"...for lack of a better word...and that is to make the code that is present to take over a cell and replicate millions of copies of itself. It is an "automaton". No purpose or valued function.
