A skateboarder with an initial velocity of 2.0 m/s moves with constant acceleration and travels 12.0 m in 4.0 s. ?

    d = ½(v + vo)t

    You know the initial velocity vo.  You know the time.  You know the distance..  Substitute and solve for v.
