Question for Sci-Fi fans: Did you ever think you would get to live through a global pandemic and quarantine?

    No. I thought 12 monkeys was just in the movies. What's happening now in social distancing is a prequel to having to live underground before 15/16 of the population is wiped out which won't happen except in the movies. Most Novel Corona Virus could do is wipe out 1/256 of the world population.

    Sci Fi has nothing to do with it.  It's history. My grandparents lived through a bad one which killed more than half a million Americans.

    Oh yeah, and that is why I have three months' worth of food as well as cooking facilities and water purification means. And I will be buying a small solar off-=grid system this year and if the pandemic ends I will build up to six months of food.
