I think marriage removes the woman's incentive to please her man as she holds cards to his financial ruin.

  • If the marriage becomes sexless overtime, there was never any genuine sexual or any type of attraction to begin with.

Because we start families and kids take 99% of our attention and time.

I think couples get so lost with work, money and other problems that sometimes they forget how much of a stress reliever sex can be lol It may not fix everything but i'm sure it's best to keep the sex going especially when married. Also, I think women are more emotional at times so if their husband makes them upset or angry about something, the last thing they want to do is have sex with them. Sometimes men are so lost in their work life that they don't give their wives attention and the snowball keeps piling up. Or maybe they feel it is more of a routine that is old or something they "have" to do so it's not so exciting to them anymore. The main problem seems to be communication and forgetting why you married your significant other.

Sex is a tool. A tool to get what you want. Once she has the house, the kids, the nice car, etc, there is no reason to have sex anymore. This is why men "cheat". The woman withholds sex. We have to do it. Our prostrate and testicles function 24/7. Women don't have to. If a man doesn't cheat, his wife no longer gives sex, he's whacking it.

It makes sense if you look at it evolutionarily.

The great thing about sex is that it creates genetic mixing.  Sex with different partners brings about more genetic variation.

What's love got to do with it?  We are all slaves to our genes.  Or at least, we rarely take account of what thousands of years of instinct make us do.

As a general rule, sex drives decrease with age.  Most people experience a loss of sex drive whether they're married or not.
