No. What leads to lifelong isolation is an inappropriate reaction or response to rejection. Everyone is rejected at some point. You have to find whatever helps you to move on.  Do not let someone who is not worth it ruin your life.

It can, stops you from wanting to interact with people again, but that's on how important that person was to you and how regularly the rejection happens (in my case) but I mean it when I say this, the more people you meet, especially as an adult. Will want the best for you, my childhood ****** me up although my adult hood brought me back.

Then don't talk to anybody in the first place. It's better to be an introverted hermit.

Not always. But it did for me.

No isolation is caused by virus. And rejection is not the same.

It can. It can change a person, develop new habits which would include a reduction in social contacts. A reduction is a natural thing with age, so once lost, it is not likely to return to the original amount.

Is that really the excuse you want to go with?

When you turn into a week codependent and a beta male and you don't learn anything from the pain you will be isolated. If you're not watching YouTube you're never going to make it

I don't think you've suffered with major rejection from a loved one. It strips you of confidence and trust in people, especially as a child, have a heart man
